Chris... I have an 80 GMC. Unfortunately, I do not have it here to take pics. The mount is pretty simple though. There are two braces that go back into the wheel wells and attach to the frame. The front bumper comes off, and the headgear mounts on top of the frame ends. Let me look for some pics.

A quick tip----check the location of the fuel and brake lines inside the frame rail before you drill the holes for the thrust arms.

Chris, I found two so far. This one is not so great, but you can see the bolt goes through the back hole in the lift arm, and you can see how the bumper mounts in front of the plow frame.

IF that is all you got, then you are missing pieces.

You can see the bottom mount here.

You are missing at least two brackets for each side that I can tell so far. Man I wish the truck was here. I even have the original installation instructions at my Mother's house. :headwall

Let me keep looking. I have a lot to go through on my computer...

I just searched over at eBay. I found this pic of an older Jeep mount. It is VERY similar to what you need.

The pictures were nice, noticed the 5 leafs on the '79. WOW. I just got through putting four on my '83 1/2 ton shortbox. I thought about the 5 option, but I'd already overdone it with overarched 7's (1ton) at the rear! The 7/16(?) bolts at the rear have got to be a weak point. Your efforts are not unoticed. Andrew :)
