Hi all, I installed the Hotshot on one of my trucks last year, works as advertised. I find I use more Rainx because I am now lazy and don't pre-scrap the thick stuff....

Was easy to install

Hello,
Thanks for your replies.

You want to install the unit at a location in between the washer reservoir and washer jets, preferably mounted to the firewall of the vehicle. Create the shortest fluid hose run possible from the HOTSHOT unit output to the washer jets in order to maintain the temperature of the fluid.

There is no specific schematic for each vehicle. You have to use your best judgement as far as where to mount the unit in order to meet the objective stated above.

If you have any specific questions, please let me know.

Thanks, David

Retail this product is selling for $250-300 installed. Locally we are selling to fleets for $150/unit, depending upon the quantity purchased. I could probably do something for the members here for $135/unit plus shipping.

We are looking for authorized resellers across the country if anyone is interested, please contact me via this post or at #781-696-1030.

So there is no confusion, this product is not MOTOWASH being sold at Canadian Tire. MOTOWASH system is a knockoff and there was a large recall due to malfunctioning parts. Google MOTOWASH and you will see what I mean.

Thanks for your interest.

That's some nice pricing, much nicer than what I have seen around the net.At that price,it's a no brainer.

I have used the Canadian Tire knock off units, and they are OK,but not quite warm enough to melt stuff.Even the small increase in fluid temperature is enough to see quite a difference in the way it clears the windshield.

I am interested in dealing the product,I'll give you a ring.

The Motowash system sold by Canadian Tire is not a proven system and a copycat of Microheat's HOTSHOT. Microheat own's four U.S. patents on the technology. Aside from the technology differences, you will see that the size of the unit is much different with the Motowash being almost twice the size of the HOTSHOT therefore making it difficult to install in the ideal location so as to now lose temperature of fluid before it hits your washer jets. That's a critical aspect to the installation.

I have no problem providing this pricing to the members here as this is a great resource for us, especially if we can set up some resellers. There is no cost involved with becoming a reseller of this product aside from an investment in (10) units to start.

Please give me a call to discuss further. Look forward to hearing from you.
