I had bought a 88 F250 that had the plow aready on it. The mount is the type that the bumper must be extended. Upon going over the plow i see that the A frame may be bent. I say this because the angle peice that the chain attaches to lets the arched(rounded) peice slip out. when this happens it looks like the angle rams are being tweeked. I know this is not suppose to happen as my other plow does not do this. Do you think the frame is bent and if so is there a fix to keep this from slipping out, or just replace the a-frame
Meyer 7.5 , three spring........what model is this. 39" from front pivot to rear support, 21" ram eye to eye.

Thanks for any help

Is the pivot area in good shape ? If the quadrant is walking forward when you lift it,I'd say you have a pivot problem. Most likely the area is badly worn (or the hole might be worn right through),and needs to be repaired.
