I have an E47 pump that I changed out the fliud, cleaned the screens. Hooked it up today and the plow goes up/down fine. Plow will only angle left, will not go back right even with help from a tree and rope. Hoses all held pressure so I disconnected connectors, relieved the pressure hooked ram hoses together. I can move the rams/frame back and forth. Hooked it back up to the truck, hit the switch to angle right and the plow again went left. Again lines under pressure disconnected to relieve that.
Truck wiring is good cause prior to testing this unit worked fine on another.
Any ideas on why only left , not going back right, pressure not releasing .
All help is appreiciated
The hydrolic hose couplers are bad and you will need to replace them both...Rob

Well I replaced both connectors. Hooked everything up, hit the angle switch right and again the plow went left. Unknown if the problem was with the pump or the plow unit I hooked up to another working plow blade. Hit the switch right blade goes left.
I hooked up another working E47 pump to the truck. When I hit the switch right the plow goes right, did this with the blade in question and a known good blade.
It seems that the issue is narrowed down to the pump unit. I have read the C coil is for angle, should I just replace the C coil or the C coil and C valve.
I have also read that the issue could be a crossover valve. Is this something I can do or should I just take it to a shop?
Thanks again for any help.

Remove the C coil and valve, and clean it. Inspect the O rings for tears. IF the C coil / valve is not working properly, all the plow will do is angle left.

check the c coil for a charge take it off and put a battery charger neg on the coil and positive on the wire and put a small nail or scrwdriver in the opening and if it sticks in there it is working. then if it is take the valve out and put it in the coil without the nut on the end and touch the wire on the positive repeatedly till you can hear if the valve is clicking it should be one or the other. cuz if the pump dont do anything i will always angle left

I just hooked up my plow today on the '87, it is a ST 7.5, E-47. Plow goes up and down, but will not angle either way. Motor works when I hit left or right, but no movement. Could this be the C coil as well? Connections at hoses looked good, I changed the couplers last year.

I am no expert, but the "B" and "C" valves both need to be working, or angling is a problem. Check that the coils are well grounded first, thats usually the problem.

C coil tested weak, replaced c coil and c valve All is working properly. I was told c coil and c valve are for angle.
