That's a nice deal Howard. The 246 is heavy enough to do a lot of work with, I load and unload 3000lb pallets of bricks with my 248, it has the same specs. I'd grab that 4 way bucket though, you can't imagine the work you can do and save with it.

I stumbled across online... It is a mile from my house no less. The 4 way bucket how does that help? I have never seen one used?

Howard,
4 in 1 bucket's are the cats meow. Still usefull as a regular bucket, plus you can use it as a clamshell or grapple. We bought one this year and don't even bother with the standard bucket anymore. They are pricey usually $2600+. I paid $2,100 for ours, but also bought 3 other attachments this year.

Do you pick up rocks with it? Is it used for spreading material?

both you can pick and place rocks pick up tree limbs stumps, and with the front part up it acts like a dozer.

Go with the 4-in-1. You can grade, push, pickup, ect. Defaintely worth the $$$$$$$.

Is it possible to replace the bolt on tooth edge with a straight edge? I went and looked at the machine and it is definately a deal. 21500 with the 4/1 bucket with tire chains. The poly doors is nice, I don't have to worry about ice breaking it. Machine ran fine and seemed ok... Needs full service. How much for a hydro flush?
