Hey guys, I was wondering what you guys were thinking about heated wiper blades these days? I'm sure you like them but what brand seems to be the best?
Thoughts?

I have the everblades on my 5500, my FJ cruiser and my skid steer if thats any indication. Jim had a custom set made for the FJ as it has 3 front wipers.

I have an everblade on my trackless, worked great last year. A real asset when blowing snow in cold weather.

The big brown truck just dropped off my new set of Everblade wipers this week. It appears to be well built and the sub-structure & rubber seems to be flexible which should helps on curvy windshields. Will be installing the set soon.
Had the "Blizzard Blades" before and they are "ok". The heated element worked great but the rubber squeeze left behind streaks.

good to know, if you wouldn't mind leaving some feedback after you use them, that would be great.

1-5 amps depending on size and if the arm as well as the blade is heated. This is a nice feature of the Everblades. Optional arm heating.

Do they keep ice from building up on the bottom of the windows or just the wiper?

What's the best source for buying heated blades, particularly Everblades since that's what everyone seems to use. After a week of plowing and blowing snow in 0 to 15F temperatures, heated blades would've really helped. Are they compatable with twin arm wipers?

Hi
My Mother in law use to work for EPI Engineering Plastics Inc or Northland Products, they made heated wiper blades for Volvo and other big truck manufacturers. They also offered wipers for many other makes and models in the LT series. They were located in Westboro, Massachusetts, but they have moved out to North Brookfield, MA. http://www.hotwipers.com/

See the other thread about some problems, but overall in the few times I have been able to use them :headwall , I have been very pleased with them. Enough to order a few more sets for some other trucks.
