when hooking up my plow it stopped working and just started clicking. im leaning towards selonoid but am not sure.

im gonna go pull the selonoid. is this just a reg. ol selonoid i can get at any parts store like fords use to use?

First make sure your harness plugs are tight and secure, Mine work loose and the solenoid just clicks.

Then take a meter or a test light and see if current flows through solenoid. Could also just jump solenoid for a second to see if its bad.

took it all apart. cleaned everything. works fine now. not sure if i didnt have something tight. as i just did this all last week. so maybe i didnt get everything tightened back up. but it works now.

Just an FYI. The clicking you hear is the solenoid. So if it's clicking like that.. it's a safe assumption that the solenoid is working.

The solenoid is clicking sending power to the pump... What probably happened is the connector was not sending power to the valve coil
