Has anyone got any pricing for Salt in CT? I thought there was a place near New Haven. That came in on the Barge? Any Help would be greatly appreicated!!!!

Thats where we buy ours bulk, its Morton Salt I believe, unless they got bought out right on the water. I don't have handy pricing right now, but I'm not sure if it will be the same for everyone b/c we spoke for 2000 tons in the summer.

You can always get it out of Albany, NY for about $45-48 per ton plus freight.

International Salt out of the New Haven Stockpile is $52.00 per ton picked up and $60.00 per ton delivered minium 25 ton.

Thanks SLC1, Do you know the address where to pick it up. I also see you are in southington. Would you like some new customers out there? If I new this earlier I would have hooked you up with an account I had to drop. It was a good one but not good enough to go out there for one customer.

The salesman name is Jack K. he should be able to help you out. If not let me know and I can hook you up with a local trucker who supplies a bunch of other landscapers with salt, his price is a little bit more but he has never been out of salt, ever, so he is good to deal with also. I would be interested in commerical plowing in town we dont do any residental at all. If you have anything that you need done let me know, I will even just sub-it for you.

you have to a customer before you buy, so make sure you have an account before you show up. They only take an alloted number of customers so call asap
