Prices are decent for Ontario.
Blizzard straight blades are cheaper than the Boss blades you listed.
If your going to spend the money for a Boss V,you can get a Blizzard 810 for close to the same price ($7295),or the 8611 Lo-pro for about $400 more. The Blizzards make the V's look tiny in comparison.
The 860 Speedwing is also a very nice plow. The benefits of wings, with less weight and fewer hoses. They are $5845 installed.

Wouldn't you guys be better off driving over the border and buying a plow ?? Just asking because plows are a cheaper than that here.

Yes,it would be cheaper to go to the states, but it will hurt everyone in the long run.The more plow sales we lose to the US,the less we sell, and our prices just go up more.Nothing against the US,but lets keep our $$$$ here in :canada
Unless your going to Jerres place,I would NOT recommend getting a blade installed south of the border. The ones I have seen (and end up fixing) are very poorly installed.Maybe these guys don't care because they know the person is not coming back,so they just slap them on.
I have to reinstall and repair one on a F350 that was done south of the border.I'll post some pics of the shoddy install.

Thanks Chris and that makes alot of sence.
I have only ever had 1 plow installed and that was the Boss on my 04'. Since then I have transfered it to 3 different trucks. Once you know where eveything goes it's pretty cut and dry.
I did a Western Unimount on a 99 F-350 a few weeks back and that mount was a pita. Had to take 1/2 the front end off to install the thing, though the wiring was simple.

We've seen a lot of people pulling off almost new plows to make the switch to Blizzard, they are really taking off around here. They are fairly straightforward to install, sith a nice clean wiring harness, unlike some of the others.
I usually get 5-10 people a day who stop and gawk at the 8611's because of the sheer size.Once they see how well built it is,they end up wanting one.The problem is,you spend an hour or so going over everything, showing them the plow, and the way we install them, and then they say "Cool,I'll go pick one up in the states for $2000 cheaper and no tax,see ya !" :fuming They seem to forget to do the money conversion, add in the fuel and accomodations, time spent, and the possibility of getting nailed for taxes at the border.

Just wondered if this was a good deal . I bought a 9.2 Boss V plow RT 3 bought new in 2004, it was used pretty lightly very little paint worn off. Paid $2500 with the proper undercarrige and wiring. by the way it works great !:redv:
