I bid on a 1976 international cab over detriot diesel allison auto with 21+K miles on it with a 2.5 ton crane and 16' flatbed. anyone know what it is worth?

2.5 ton crane? Seems small, just a lightweight boom for small items or what was it used for? Sounds like a barrel hauler or something.
Being a detroit and an auto and a bumper climber, it should go for short money.

it was to pick up water pipe for roads when they did a new install.

I agree with atgreene. "Short money".
I sold a 1974 Cabover Cargostar International w/ 16' flatbed (no boom) years ago. Sold it cheap back then.
A small crane will bump the price up but it all depends on the shape of the entire rig.
Sometimes the the equipement on the truck (the crane & bed) will be worth more than the truck itself. If it is cheap enough, you could always transfer the equipement to a better chassis.
