What is this thing like to plow with? I know someone who just bought one and was wondering what they are like to drive If I can find my way in it this winter.
Can you haul this with a Topkick thats his other aquasition as welll as a nice float to haul it. I took night pics of the machine as it intregued me as i passed his shop. This is the same guy that wanted to haul a loaded with a F550. He got smarter and looks like richer too.

It is a great snow mover. 3 steer modes (front, crab, and 4 wheel) . For such a big machine it gets around quite well and the visibilty out of the cab is great. You can also run SSL attachments on it. IMO , its kinda priy to have just for snow , but if you can keep it busy in the off months it would be a good fit. I have seen 14' pusher boxes on them as well.

It should push quite well.I have also seen big pushers mounted on them.
They do turn quite well, they are made for manuevering on tight areas on a construction site.

I have seen more of those used here in the mountains than skid steers. More power, higher road speeds and I don't know of anything that can stack higher:D
Most commercial plowing up here is with Wheel Loaders done by excavation companies looking to keep equipment moving year round.
If you can justify a machine like that I think it would be ideal..

I think his intentions are to get into hard scapeing of new condos and the likes. He told me allot of his clients have asked him to do the landscape installs on new properties they are moving to or own.
True about stacking the sky is the limit or what 30' something crazy like that.
Looks like you do not have much rear visibility thou as the back end is high up.

Haven't actually plowed with one, but have a sub who has the Manitou version. They work great, pushing is not an issue, neither is maneuverability. Wouldn't think you'd want to load it for transport, they have pretty good road speed.
Just make sure you don't have the boom extended when pushing and hitting something hard. It's a little expensive to start straightening out that tube steel.

30k ground speed is what the bobcat says.

That’s why he most likely won’t let me drive it. Then again I didn’t know his properties and he didn’t tell me that at the end of it there was a small island that you can’t see. I didn’t see it either but I sure felt it. Hopefully he will give me maps of his properties this year as I do not want to be doing any unnecessary damage to his truck and plow. But it’s his fault again if he doesn’t do that and he gets me plowing again without seeing the property with out snow on them. I babyed the truck and plow last year I was kind of scared of the power the v10 350 and low pro has.

Chris,
I told him you sold blizzards last year and he went to kooy to get it done for his dodge that just sits as a backup truck.
He doesnt know I know he has it yet, but I'll tell him about the box. He had a plow and some head gear sitting out by his shop but I think that was from his old dump truck and he might put that on the topkick. A 8611 would be good on the topkick?
I'll let him know thou in hopes of me using it. Can u make up the contract for exclusive use by me in exchange for a smoking deal on a pusher? Use those words too in the contract. *L*
Can you weld a plate on the back of the box so I can strap the Toro single stage to it cuz I’m sure he wants me doing walks as well and so there is no excuse as to why I can’t run it.
Dave.
