Here is a picture of my daughter. It is our first child. She was born just before Thanksgiving. You never know how much fun being a parent is until you are one. I'll talk to you in about 13 years to let you know how it is going.:headwall :D

Congratulations, NYRookie. Just think, in 16 years she'll want to start driving:eek: . That's one of the first things my mom said to my dad when I was born. I definitely gave my parents their share of grief!!:burnout . Glad to see mom and baby are well, good luck to you and your family. Mike

Its funney The day I had my first child a couple of things happened .
1- I had a new found respect for my wife.

2-I realized what I have been getting up and going to work all these years for.

3-I finally realized what my parents meant when they said wait unitl you have kids.To this day I still aplogies to my folks for what I put them thru

Now some quick free advice.start planning for her colledge now,Most banks offer the free advice of a financial adviser.Go out and see one.If not at least start saving weekley for it,Even if its only 10.00 a week get started as soon as you can.I have accounts for both my children and all the grandparents have depsit slips so instead of a toy I request a deposit in to the account. Belive me it add up quick. And dont you know beside them doing a deposit they still purchase a toy.

GET started this week on it

Congratulations. My wife and I had five, two boys and three girls. They are all a blessing, a strenghth, and a joy.
Oh, they can be a pain from time to time, but those are also a part of the memories that you will laugh at in the future. As others have said, spend time with your child. I sometimes feel that I didn't do enough of that, but maybe it's because they grow up so fast.

Congrats,she's cute !

We have five as well,3 boys and 2 little girls, and they are quite a handful. One of the main reasons I cut back the size of my business was to spend more time with the kids, and so far,it's paying off.Spend as much time as you can with her, they get old way too quick !

I agree with the planning for school idea.I'm faced with putting three boys through university, one now,the other two in the next few years, and it's tough all at once.We had set some aside, but we didn't start early enough. With the girls,we set it up right after they were born. The compound interest, and government grants matching the contributions will make it a lot easier.

We're(my wife and i) expecting our third child but it will be our first together in the middle of January.

We've already found out it'll be a little girl, and thats nice, because we both had boys from previous relationships. The wife says it's only fair because there's too many guys in the house and it'll help balance out the ratio.:)

Iwas hoping she'd come before the end of the year, but no such luck it seems.

Kiss the tax deduction goodbye for her this year.:)

Congratulations !

I remember the days my two kids were born. They were the most fantastic days of my life. Then evertime they did something new it just got better and better.

3 months ago my daughter got married, Its amazing how fast time flies when you are having such fun...

Start saving the $$$$$ and the tissues now, because before you know it you are going to need massive amounts of both of these items.

I kept saying I wasn't going to cry at her wedding.... yeah right !!!
Cried even more when she left for her honeymoon by car to Florida... It's really hard when they grow up and don't need Daddy as much as they use to.

My wife and I are expecting our first at the end of Janurary. It's a boy and I can't wait to have him in my arms. Who knows, maybe he'll follow in my foot steps and take over my business when I'm too old...LOL

CONGRADS again!!!
