Meyer Improving?????

I was over at the Meyer web-site(not sure why :beatsme) but I noticed that they have really made some advances that the other major brands havent done. Especially with the controller. They have a controller that is upgradeable with new features that Meyer may come out with in the future. Also they have programmable features such as an auto raise that will raise the plow when the truck is put into reverse, a wig wag feature that alternates the headlights similar to strobes and a way to use the controller to diagnose problems.Their new mount system and plow see decent. I would almost be interested in seeing that up close just to see. They also have there new V-Plow listed on the site as well. I also noticed that the have both Timbren and Whelen listed under the Plow Accessories section of their web site. Maybe there stuff is still not up to par with the larger companies, I'm not real sure but its kinda neat IMO to see some more advances. I'm sure all the members that went out to Erie saw more advances in the Blizzard line as well.

As far as smaller/larger companys I think Meyer is the largest. At least they used to be. Meyer is World wide. DD or Boss still hasnt made it across any of the Ponds.

I think we will all wait and see how durable the new Vee plow is...

The new controller seems like a good idea, but really how many "new" functions are you going to have on a plow controller... The plow shake can easily be accomplished be wiggling the joystick back and forth, or alternating the angle buttons... I don't know most of the functions seem gimmicky to me, and will get no real use.

The wig-wag light I would never use because I believe they are illegal in NY unless you are Police, EMS or Fire Department....

A lot of Flash it seems like and nothing valuable... but that is my opinion...

It could be that. I dont really know. In my area it is VERY rare to see anything yellow wheather it be Fisher or Meyer so I don't really know.
