Hey guys, I know we are all shut down for the most part but I have a question. I have about half a pallet of bagged 50lb rock salt. Can I store it in a cool dry place untill next winter? Or should I try and sell it off, and how? Thanks in advance.

I always end up with some left at the end of the season. If you sell it, it'll be to somebody who knows that it'll keep over the summer, so you might as well keep it yourself.
I had two pallets that sat outside from last spring until late this winter. They were almost the last salt I used. There were a few bags that got real hard, and a few more that had some hard chunks in them, but for the most part they were fine. I kept them covered with a tarp, but that's all. The fine-ness of the salt can make a difference too. If it's nice big granules it'll keep better than if it's like table salt. If you have a dry place to store it, it should be fine.
