My brother in law uses my vehicle to plow with, his drive and mine. Think he killed it this time though. Beginning of winter the crossover pressure valve was destroyed., spring toally destroyed, was in little pieces. Now the plow won't angle right, and if lifted leaks down. Pulled the "B" valve it seems okay. The "C" valve is bad I think, it is a bear to get it in and out of the solenoid, amlost like the shaft has expanded in diameter. Put the valvre back in an tried the unit and now the motor just recently stopped work, there is 12 volts to the motor so I don't know if it's bad or if it's just pressure locked. This unit is on a 79 Dodge uunit, and I don't know what kind of care it received before I got it. Is it worth rying to rebuild, or should I look for another unit? If rebuild shuld I do it myself or farm it out?

Thanks

Bill, The exploded C valve is pretty common when the Xover goes bad. The Xover is the trickiest part of the rebuild except for making sure you get everything CLEAN. We sell rebuilt units for $450 for E47's and $650 for E60's. Yours can be rebuilt for $65 plus parts if you ship it to us if you want to go that way.
