Steve was impressed with my '84 notchback turned SVO at the car shows back in the late '80s.
It was a 375hp 4 banger. Used many of his suspention parts though.
I totaled the car but still have the engine.........
Saleens are looking better every body style change.
I want another one, got my eye open looking for an '87 or so notch back with a 4 banger.

 Nice car!! I bet that car can haul some butt. How many lbs. of boost? Have the pullies been upgraded at all? Good luck with it, thats a real sweet car for sure. My friend had a 2003 white Cobra couple for a little while and that thing was an animal, I can just imagine how that Saleen must feel to drive. Mike :shades

Office Manager at work has a Bullet Mustang and hey, she will ask me to do her a favor and change the oil so I just have to take it out to warm it up first. After all I can't change it when it's been sitting in the parking lot all day cold can I. :D
That thing will fly with just the stock motor it came with and no upgrades. I can't imagine what that Saleen stang you got will do.:burnout

I've got an '82 GT that I bought new, has 26,000 miles. I worked it up a little, and would like to drop as 351 in it.

Slick Pony Matt. I've seen a few 03 Cobras run over the summer, they are built right. I can't wait to hear how this one runs with the extra goodies....:burnout
It's just too bad that tires are so expensive....:wink

it should be good for awhile.......it has brand new tires that were put on less than 200 miles ago......the guy im buying it from was an absolute car nut. the still has teh original floor mats he never used, and put new tires on a car with less than 16,000 miles on it. he even wipes down all the frame rails etc.....i cant wait for it to come. hey pelican...youll have to bring that GT up to CT one day, and ill show you all the hang out spots on the weekends.

That would be cool!
I've always liked those Saleen's, high performance, but not overdone with the cosmetics. Some of these guys go overboard and end up with a gawdy car.
You got a real nice one there!

Oh Well Matt,
You just need to replace the truck now!
Nice looking car, You will have to stay away from Hooters,
We'll have to take a ride to Marks' Auto cruisenite on Mondays in the spring, there is like 500+ cars a night.
Jay remember ONLY set up races with your own stuff!
Because If your gonna play, and it breaks YOU got to fix it.!!!!
I'm at work, I'll post a pic of the engine later at home.
Hey Pelican,
Nice meeting you yesterday, to bad I didn't get there sooner.
Everyone have good Christmas
Later

Hey Matt if you dont mind how much did you pay for it, and where did you find it?
mdb landscaping
12-26-2003, 01:08 PM
i found the car on the internet.........im having it shipped from Chesapeake VA to CT. its a real professional outfit and its all enclosed trailer service. it cost me $650. i thought that was pretty reasonable. i found the company, because a few years ago they hauled a car for my dad from GA to Ct. they even put slippers on to get in and out of your car during unloading, loading. check em out..... www.intercitylines.com
