Lesco 200 gal sprayer

Does anyone know if the Lesco 200 gal sprayer (Item 704608) can handle deicing? It's got a 5.5HP Kawasaki engine, 200 gal poly tank, jet agitators, does up to 9.5GPM at 550 PSI, in-line strainer, and I believe it has a diaphram pump (not sure). Next season I want to more of the deicing but I already need a sprayer for fertilizer and other lawn/tree applications.

Any help on a system that might work is appreciatied.

Rocket, It is all in the pump. Get rid of the strainer and you should be ok. I bought this same unit this fall with the intentions to use it for deicing but I never got a chance to get it going. If you are interested I would sell it for what I paid for it $700. All you need is a pump for about $150 (I have a catalog) and some hose.

It has a honda engine and electric real.
