Anyone else having personal problems this year with crazy phyco female deer? Yes, I meen the animal.... lol :)

I've hit so many deer over the past few years it's kinda funny...
Killed a couple w/ the V plow. Backed into one backing out of my driveway. Hit one with my plow pulling in and way to many times on the road... So it's really no big deal.
Least year at least 5 contacted my truck.

Heck our friends down the road went out hunting a couple yrs ago & shot nothing, pulling into thier drive one the way home kiled a 16 point buck...

Tonight I was pulling in my drive after a trip to Tim Hortons, I see a deer in my drive so I hit the breaks stop 1/2 way turned in going at most 5mph.
Next thing I see is another deer running across our neighbors lawn & rammed directly into the rear side of my stoped truck.
Luckaly no damage, just a ton of nasty ass snot on the side of my tuck.

WTF is up with these things? are they blind or are thay seeking revenge against me & for what?
What it up with this, are all females against me or something?

:geez :beatsme :headwall

Around here the last few years the deer population has increased dramatically. I worry about the wife in her little car, it's like driving a go-cart - if she hits a deer you take it off at the legs and that things coming right through the winshield. There are guys on a list that when a deer is hit the cops give them a call they pick up the deer and it's deer steak for the winter.

Don't be fooled thinking your safe in your truck.
A good friend of my father was killed driving a delivery truck, same type as thoes UPS trucks. Hit deer at 35, it went through the windshield & snapped his neck.

Got Grass I remember that accident on the news maybe 3-4 years ago. That is too bad about the man that died. My brother hit a doe the last week of deer season and did one hell of a job on his dakota, And his girlfriend hit one a couple days later. Gotta kill them some how since alot of people cant shoot them!!

I've managed to collect two with the trucks(one truck mine ,one my brothers).
Driving up in Speculator in the winter we were going on a pizza run into town and had one run into the side of my brothers truck and dent up the door.(Person used to feed them right near where it got hit.)

And coming home from deer hunting a couple of years ago had a doe jump on the hood, roll over the top, taking off the mirror on the RS and denting the cab on my S-10.

Landed on its feet in the bed and then it jumped out and ran into the woods.:(

Well us southern boys usually hunt sitting in a tree stand or blind.

Sounds like you northern guys are getting very serious about not getting out of the truck.....even with deer season! :D

When I drove to GIE in St Louis this year from Nashville I counted 25 dead deer and only 1 standing between here and there.

Its too bad that your vehical get all banged up, but to have a loss of life is terrible. Sounds like you have an over population of deer that needs to get managed soon, or more serious problems could come.

I had one hit my running board on the old K5 Blazer years back. Made a heck of a racket and I thought it was dead for sure but, to my surprise it continued to run off and only left a few leg hairs on the step part. Likely a hard hoof made all the racket.

About 4-5 years ago it was the last day of deer season and I stiil had no deer to bring home. Giving up I decided to drive home and was having one of those non-vocal moments of prayer to the Almighty, asking Him to "just make one deer appear, please?". Less than a minute later a doe flops onto the road infront of my (then) Blazer and can't seem to get up! I'm blinking my eyes in disbelief and start to wonder if the slick, icy road is the problem or is she wounded. Dumb luck takes over as a car with two women stop opposite of me witnessing things as well. Hunting laws prohibit me from dispatching her on the road and I have to wait till' the deer moves well off side of the road. Even then I'm wondering what those two women will do if I got out to dispatch the animal. Turns out the doe was wounded by a gunshot, crawled off the road and just then the persuing hunter appeared from the woods. That goof took two shots and she still didn't succumb. I shouted to him that if he couldn't do the job, I wa going to take a shot and end the suffering. Finally his third shot finished things. What a mess. Of course he blamed his scope! The women and I continued on our ways and I went home empty handed that season, the first time in many years. What a lousy kick in the pants for me eh?:(
