Thud noise when stopping.

I have a thud noise while comming to a complete stop.

Im thinking tranny mount or leaf arm (radias arm) formerly

Probably something loose and its shifting around. Most likely in the frontend. What kind of vehicle, model, year? Mike :)

I had a noise something like that, it was the slip joint in the drive shaft! Grease fixed it! Hope this is it!

Do you have Firestone Steeltex tires???

Sounds like maybe an out of wack belt.
