Somebody told me that Dodge would be coming out in a couple years witha smaller hemi, to replace the 4.7 that they offer now. Have you guys heard anything about this?

I don't know the reasoning. A buddy of mine said something about it, he might be full of crap though.

The smaller hemi is supposedly for the Durango/Dakotas. Also rumors of a big block hemi to replace the V10. Looks as if Dodge gas motors will be hemi labels and not the Magnum. Dunno how much of all that is fact or fallacy other than the V10 is no more!:(

Wards AutoWorld named the Hemi as one of its top 10 engines for 04 . Check out the above link

I may be old fashion, but a Hemi means those big fat valve covers with the spark plug wires going into the middle of the valve cover!

Barrett-Jackson Auction
70 Superbird w/426 Hemi=$160,000 (I believe it went for that amount)

Maybe so during the days of street rods, but today everything must meet CAFE standards and pass emissions inspections so the current hemi is a bit more tame!:(
