I make my Own! Ole Jim here I buy a new set of West Coast Mirrors w/ the Back side as Flat as Possible! & take them Appart & install Amber Clearance lights on the Back side Usually 4 & when I hook E*m Up & use a heavyer wire so I can turn Off & ON when their needed! Figure out the Pattern You desire? & Drill a 1/2 inch hole in the mirror head right where the Bulbs are! & w/ a Wood drill drill 1/2 inch Hole in the Lights plastic Base Remove the Bulb first & screw your Marker lights onto the mirror Head & repalce the Bulbs & run your Wiring to your Switch I usually operate the Top & bottom ones ON all the time & when it get Really COLD like at Start Up! I turn E*M all ON! & w/ In minutes! My Mirrors are Clear! of Fog Frost or ICE! & in the Summer where theres NO need & just Switch them OFF! I did this long before Heated Mirrors came along & by using the Double Bulb clearance lights as those tiny bulbs put out a lot more Heat than You would Think! especially in the Small Confined area of a west Coast Mirror! but Be Sure to Run a heavyer Wire to Them as they Will be Pretty Dim! & NOT Do a very Good JOB if? You use small wire! as I have bought trucks W/Heated mirrors & removed them & installed Mine & SOLD the Originals as Mine Work Better Faster! my Opinion Ole JIM

Plow Dak NO as I*M using a Web TV unit so I can*t send Pics but its real Easy to DO! especially w/New Mirrors! the Easyest are the Aluminum ones as Drilling the Holes is Easyer I look for the Ones w/ the Flat back sides & New Aluminum ones come apart real Easy! but be Extra Carefull as they Scratch as their Soft! Chrome ones are a bit harder to Do! but Look better when your Finished! I make a pattern out of heavy Paper Construction Paper & Tape it ON so w/ that One pattern I can Do as many of that Kind of Mirror as I want so their All Exactally alike! if the Mirrors are mounted on the Doors? I run my Mirrors wires through the Vent window! on older models as most? Heavy Duty trucks I have the Mirrors are mounted on the windshelid Post & Don*t move when the doors open or Close! like the Mirrors on Kenworth Trucks! but My type of Home Made Heated mirrors will work on any Truck & they Don*t Cost an Arm & a Leg! & the FACT is they Work Faster & Better than the Ones You can BUY! & I don*t have to Worry about Burning the Heating Eliment Out! just replace a bulb & checking is the easy Part! any Bulb that Not Lit UP! Is the Problem! & those tiny Bulbs are very Cheap in Price especially in buying them by the Package! I been doing this for many yrs! & the Best Mirrors I found have Flat Black on the Back sides of the Mirror Glass! as IT seems to Assorb the Heat Faster! but YOU won*t Know? if? they have flat Back on the Back sides of the Mirrors Until YOU take Them Apart! & Don*t get Discouraged as they Ones w/ sorta a Gray Back side finish Work all most as Good! & I Dono? on What Brands? have the Flat black back sides? I personally Like the Flat backed thin Ones Best! as their Real Thin & 3/4 of an inch thick & Heat Up real Quick & once their Clear I shut the Switch Off! as I build most of my own Stuff! then when it screws up? I know how to Fix It! Ole JIM
