Big Drift!

Had to do pushback on Tuesday as the wind had really played hell with this contract!!

Takes a lot of trimming on this drift to get the road back.

I know how hard you are working, I have a skid steer coming with a blower on Monday for demo/rental just trying to get stuff opened up.

The contract is 12 miles of road with lots of snow and wind.

No one lives on this upper road but the lot owners pay the same 150.00 a year as all of the other owners so bout every 3rd plow they ask me to open her back up!! Almost got stuck a couple of times opening this up on Tuesday. The drifts were really deep and wind packed!!

This upper road took us bout 2.5 hrs. to get back to 2 lanes. It was completly closed.

This is a 11ft. 2way and an 11ft. wing. On the last pass we left a bench that was 5-6 ft. deep and outside bank bout 4 ft. high to try to collect snow!

Nice pics, looks like a job for a "road maintainer". A road grader with a huge Vee in the front and double wings. Thats what we use around here for the push back/ drift work.

Nice pictures,nothing short of a rig like that or a big blower could keep that road open.I didnt see any markers,you must know the road well.
