Stopped down to Steves today. Moderators, feel free to delete the first pic if you think it inappropriate. Steve is Known to be a little gruff if he doesn't know you, other wise, for his friends he gives the standard Limerick salute.

2nd pic is of the Big 4x4 Mack DM (I think). Nice rig. The paystar next to it caught my eye. Tandem with a 350, 7ll tranny.

3rd pic is an O-K, Haybinder with plow and wing set-up, a Brigadeer similar to my Topkick but with an Allison, and to the right of that the nicest little 1600 series haybinder with a 345 gas job, new cab, real nice clean-up job on it. Someone spent some $ fixing it up. Too bad its gas. I didn't check, but it may be under CDL.

The yellow Chevy is has a stainless body, tailgate sander (hydro) and a Fisher V with the 6.6 turbo. Neat set-up.

2nd is a Sicard he's working on.

3rd. is the parts department, a rust iron collectors dream. 100 yards of relics.

For you Walters fanatics, take your blood pressure meds now, this is Walter heaven.

This old girl was sitting with the Walters. It's a Coleman, sorry I didn't get the year.

And a couple of the interior. Just over 3000 miles on the odometer.

I like this Walters. Note the exhaust stack.

And some interior shots.

These are matching sisters. Maybe I should buy both and have a fleet all painted alike!

This one is a brute. I'm 5' 11" and the name plate was above my head.

In pic 2, the same truck but from a distance for perspective. Top of the cab is approximately 10' from the ground.

And last but not least, Steves Christmas present to my wife. My very own, one of a kind (or Chinese imported) Walters snow globe, custom engraved (well, cheaply etched) with S. A. McLean.

I would be like a kid in the candy store there. Funny you posted this I saw this afternoon what looked to be a walters or an oshkosh going north on rt 93 on the back of a lowboy .I only saw it for a split second as it went by about on the bridge probably going there it was orange .

So no loader pics. you did say you where going to look at one or did you get sidtracked with all those great trucks there. :D

nice pics. how many of those trucks run? or is that just a storage area for older trucks. would be nice to know that they all get used because they are built so tough, not like todays vehicles. i'd love to spend all day there just exploring all the equipment. fun stuff.

All the trucks in the line-up do run and go. I'd guess there's probably 30 Walters and Osh-Kosh's that all run. Another 10 that would take some work to run and 15-20 that are just bones.

The loader was a Hough 50, and yes, I forgot to take pics of it.:zzzz Didn't seem all that exciting after looking at the trucks. I've got some more pics that need to be resized. I'll post a couple more later.

Someday I should talk Steve into haveing a cook-out and invite all of us to try the trucks out. If he thought he'd sell something, he'd probably do it.:cash

Great Pics! Thanks for posting them. I was just checking out his website, looks like he has a lot of pretty interesting stuff there.

I know if you have to ask you can't afford it, but I'll ask anyway. What kind of price range on those "toys"?

Thanks again for the pics!

Believe it or not, I have found that most of them are somewhat affordable. Some of the better Osh-Kosh's are 20K or so, but I've seen some priced at 5-10. Not bad, considering you can't buy a pick-up with a plow for that. I've got a guy waiting for me to bring him 2500 for a 50's Osh-Kosh. Was running and plowing 2 or 3 years ago. It's gas, but goes good. Just need to make it a priority and spend my money on that rather than tools and toys.

I'm going to Steves today, I'll talk to him about a gtg there sometime. It would be fun and educational.:wink

Anybody want me to pick them up anything while I'm there? Maybe an P series or 2?
