PIAA's (you spelled it right) are way too expensive your basically buying a name. I'm jsut trying to find a decent fog light, but it doesn't look like many guys use them here. Oh well.

Northern Tool has them (PIAA) on sale right now, I believe $40 a pair for oval or round

Hella has a lot of good entry level lights that are reasonably priced.
Much better than the parts store specials.

While I'm not familiar with the entire PIAA line, they seem awful cheap for good lights.Could they be knockoffs ?

I've had a couple of pairs of hellas and they have worked great. They have a cheaper line and then a real expensive line but even the cheaper line is built well.

I have a set of Hella 500's (http://www.hellausa.com/maineng/NewLook/ProdServ/perflighting/model500.html) they aren't too expensive and work great, they also come with a wiring diagram and all the parts you need, connectors, relay, switch, pretty nice. I think I paid like $65 for them at Advance Auto.

I've used mostly the 450 and 550 models,as most people prefer the rectangular ones. They are around $200.00 CDN here, but well worth the extra money.

Bought some Hella 450 driving lights the rectangular ones for $91. After much thought I went with the driving becasue they are much more useful over all than strictly fog lights. I will post pics/thoughts after I get them on. BTW Wyldman the PIAA's are real expensive here for a comprable set theyd be $200  Great light but...still a light IMO.
Thanks guys,
Eric

I have a set of Bosch fog lights, they must be at least 15 years old now. They still work fine. I think they are about $90 Canadian for a pair.
