Does any one know if there is some way to hook up the factory driving lights on a 2001 Ford F150? I think they were (are) disconnected along with the trucks headlights. It would be nice to be able to pull out the switch and use them when needed. I would like to have some light behind the plow and down lower then the plows lights. I think they will work again when the plow is removed, but need the lights to work with plow installed.

Thanks.

wouldn't you know, the dealer had them unpluged at the light.

I dont know the Ford setup, but on my Dodge, under the hood, inthe power dist center, theres a fog light relay,we take them out,and jump terminals 30 and 87,this way we can have fog lights with the Hi beams if we want.Ford may do somethign similar, and the plow wiring could be interuppting the trigger wire to the relay, see if you have a relay, and if its getting power,or the plow installer maybe just pulled it out.I use my fogs all the time when mounting my plow at night, very handy having light down low.

Saw it's fixed. Installer has to pull the bumper off for install. He probably just forgot to hook them back up.

Sure is nice to have the added light down low, and with the clear poly blade the light goes right threw. Haven't tried to see if they still shut off when Hi beams are used. Nice to be able to use them with Hi beams too.
