Guys, no biggie, just a quick question. The big WESTERN sticker on the front of my new plow has air bubbles in it, a good number of them, what should I do, if anything, to get rid of them? I tried to push them out with my fingers for a few minutes and it didnt help one bit, so I gave up and said the heck with it. Would you pop them with a needle? Would you try to push them out with something flat such as a credit card or something similar? Or would you just leave it alone? I dont care really that they are there visually, but I hope the WESTERN sticker doesnt fall off much sooner than it should have or something, due to the air bubbles...Just curious, because if I need to do something, I should do it now while its still new...I guess Im just a little anal with my stuff, plus the fact that the plow was over $4400 installed...Mike
Put a small cut in them and then you will be able to push the air out.....Rob
Take it back to the dealer & demand a new pump under warranty, I mean that is ridiculous after spending all that money. You shouldn't have to waste any of your valuble time poking holes in a sticker for 4400 bucks. Unbelievable!
PS (Make sure you have someone else there with a video camera please. I want to see the look on the face of the guy behind the counter when you lay that one on him. :haha )
I certainly assumed reading this thread would result in a good question about the air bubbles one can find in their hydraulic oil for their plows & what to do about it, leave it to Mike to let me down like this. pumpkin

Better fix those bubbles, my sticker is about 2/3rds off after 18 hours of plowing on new plow.... I saw mine was bubbled but was dam glad that I got the install completed, so the bubbles didn't really matter to me!!!! :grinz
I don't miss my old Uni-mount at all!!!!!!!!!!!:rocker

Mike, Id just ask for another decal next time your at the dealer. It isnt worth driving there for a sticker, and id let it fall off before i wasted 10 minutes with a decal. My blizzards decals lasted a good 2-3 storms, lol. Now that they are all off it,it looks much better than when it was 1/2 torn. I like it with no decals,no one knows what it is,unless there into plows.

Yea yea, make fun cause Im worrying about my sticker! :haha Seriously though, upon closer inspection :nodd, it "seems" the sticker is just the white part, meaning the word WESTERN and the white outlining, and uses the background of the red plow to make it appear a red sticker...I think the clear covering Im seeing is the part with the air bubbles, and I think its not actually part of the sticker, just a protective coating that the dealer forgot to take off, or maybe you leave it on until it falls off on its own...it seems to wanna come right off if you mess with it, which leads me to believe it isnt part of the actual sticker. 50/50 chance that if I start peeling the clear off, the white part will come with it. :geez I think Ill leave it alone! :haha Mike

Don't worry- once you get a snowflap, you won't be able to see it anymore!

I dont have to worry about the air bubbles anymore...the stickers are gone!! I got out of the truck to do something and glanced over at the face of the plow, and what do you know, BOTH stickers are gone, LOL!! The WESTERN sticker AND the CONTRACTOR GRADE sticker!! Now its just plain red...Im surprised they fell off so easily, this plow has only done 2 storms. My old Western plow still had the WESTERN sticker on the front, after years and years of plowing, oh well, Im not gonna lose sleep over a sticker. Mike

If the stickers came off that quick, it must mean it's a real POS. I bet you couldn't even plow with it, could you? ;)
Next thing you know the paint will be wearing off and then it will really have been a waste of money.
Oh, wait, that's just the Blizzard bashers. Never mind.
