I have a freind thats needs a 4X4 but He don*t plow hes an out doorsman Fishing & Camping & not mechanically inclined hes looking for a None computerized Truck & I remember seeing a Post Here giving the details on the older Dodge None computerized trucks but I forgot the years? any INFO appricated Thanks! 1994-early 1998's had the 12 Valve motors.97-early 98's had the highest output.Manual trans trucks had the best pumps,but the auto version can be easily turned up.

1994-95 had the 47RH trans,with no electronic control.96-98 had the 47RE,with electronic control.

96-98 12V trucks only used a PCM for trans,grid heater,and gauge control.

#1 Early 98 12 Valve 5 speed quad cab.These are an extremely rare truck,as it was the only way you could get a factory 12V quad cab.There are auto versions as well,but they make less power,and aren't as rare.

#2 would be a 97,as they made more power than the 94-96's.
