This one is a DIGGER DANS snow plow. I had one of these same trucks as a kid and really beat the heck out of it so when I found another one I had to buy it. This one is in mint never played with condition with the original box. These are big time collectables since DIGGER DANS series has been discontinued for years. All I put on it was the plow I still have all the decals on the sheats in the box.

Hey Greg,
Nice Models.
Nice Whaler What year is it?
Late 60's early 70's one of the 1st Montak models .
Kinda funny seeing a 2000 Ford pulling a trailer with swoopy
fenders from that era.
We use to have an old Merc like that on a 18 ft wooden Century,
It was white and green about 40 -50 hp.
Been a long time since!

Thanks Bob,
It's a 1961 17' Nauset:D
I've had Whalers most of my life;)
Always extremely over-powered of coarse:grinz
When I was a kid I had a '68 13' with a 55hp "Loop Charged" Johnson and a '64 13' with a 65hp Merc.
I have a '70 17' right now that I use as a tender. It has an '88 staight 6 150hp Merc with a stainless speed prop:eek:.
Somehow they all seem to extremely exceed thier hull speeds! LOL!!!!

Well Greg I was off on that one!
I see that having EXTRA Horsepower started young!:D
At the cottageat the shore my buddy had a 13 footer with a 50 Hp Merc with the decals removed so the DEP wouldn't bust us,
that thing honked!
We use to ski up a river near a bird sanctuary and the DEP would try to catch us with a 17 footer with less hp----- they never cought us!
Tough boats even when bouncing off the mud walls of the creeks:eek:
Oh and one for you JAY :
There use to be a Working scale model of a Dodge V-10 engine for sale on the internet .
Came mounted on an engine stand, that was hooked up to a pencil sharpener. Billed as the worlds highest HP pencil sharpener!
I think it was like 5 grand!!!!! But it came with a lifetime supply of monogramed pencils!
Later

LOL!!!
Bob,
Yes it did!!!!!
My Dad was a private pilot and a gear head. I grew up around racing, so it comes natural.
Speaking of Shelby's Jay, I know Carrol pretty well;) I talk to him at least 3 or 4 times a year. My Dad was his pilot from 67-70 when he was building Cobra's(the real ones)
My 17 with the 150 has 90 stickers on it for the same reason!!!! LOL!!
Thats what's nice about the old straight 6 Mercs. The 90, 115, 135 and 150 all used the same block, just bored different and used different carburators!! So the DNR doesn't have a clue:confused: :grinz:grinz

Plenty of Wet HP there, I found the site while I was looking for a Formula , my next toy.
I'll be upgradeing my truck to a Newer SuperDuty after I finish beating on this one this winter, can't pull the boat with a old Load!
Also Racing; I might be down your way at Cecil County Dragway
Racing my 73 Jav-AMX this coming summer at an all AMC weekend. Not sure yet, but possible.
