Im stuck in a decision between Toro and Aierns. We are looking for a 2 stage machine, something in the range of 11 HP 28" cut. I like the features on both.. any opinions on either one would be great. Thanks, Rick

Rick,I'll give You my 2cents.I have the 2003 Ariens 1128LE and I just used it yesterday to clean up after the storm and it will handle anything You throw at it.I have no problems using it.The new 2006 ariens now come with Briggs&Stratton motors.(early 06 had Tec later 06 B&S) I've heard and read their motor is better than Techumsa which I have. Both are OHV (over head valve) .:beatsme Hope this helps.:burnout

Does that mean Ariens is currently no longer using Tecumseh as their engine manufacturer for their two-stage snowblowers? I always like the Tecumseh for cold weather condition - they're great engine!
