E-57 with touch pad help!

i bought this plow and pump used from a buddy, he only used it 3 times and then he moved so he sold it to me. i bought a new touch pad and harness and went to hook it up and the motor will turn but i get no movement from the lift arm or when i push to the left the motor doesnt even turn on. i have taken the solenoids off and clean them (they came off easy). i have topped off the fluid with meyer hydro fluid, i have an appt with a meyer dealer on tues but it is supposed to snow here on mon so i am SOL right now. any help would be appreciated. thanks Josh

First things first , welcome to LTS Josh.


Now was the unit working when your buddy removed it from his truck?

Second what controler was on his truck? Did it have twin sticks, Slick stick or a touch pad?

Third when you say you got a new touch pad and harnes, was the harnes for the complet system ( from the dash all the way out to the plow pump) or was it a short harnes to plug into the end of the existing harnes under the dash?

From what you have said so far it sounds like something is not hooked up correctley. So we need to start with what is new to the system.

Thank you for the reply, yesterday i broke down and took the pump to a shop that said they would help me figure it out, first off the found the biggest problem, was the seal on top of the pump where the ram goes in was leaking and therefore not building any pressure. so they are going to rebuild the pump, i get it back on monday so i hope it all works. thanks alot, josh
