i have that light, it worked well last year, it's very bright.
some of it hits my ladder racks, but oh well. that's what happens with leds.
i'll try and take a small video of it with my digital camera, and send it to you if you want to see the patterns at night.

Here you go....I think this light is awesome, compared to a regular rotar it's brighter when you're looking at it, but it's not as distracting when you're plowing....you don't notice that it's on when you're plowing. Does that make sense? Anyway here's a pic....Check the Blizzard section for a pic the whole truck

Where can I get that light? I have been trying to get one of those from 10-4 but order won't go thru and their ph# is no longer valid.

that's where I got mine. love that light. very bright. lots of flashing choices.

i think they are under new management. not sure about their number not working though. i was on there the other day, but didn't buy anything. saw the banner that said under new management.

The sho-me low pro light has 7 different strobe patterns.

Dwan, i don't think that is the sho-me one.
the sho-me one has leds that wraps around the corners, and it's a lot cheaper than that other one you posted the link too. 315 dollars is a lot for that type of light imo.
can't go wrong with the sho-me one.

I got to try my sho-me light this morning . This light is alot brighter than I thought it would be. It out shins my 60w hide aways by far. I am having one problem with this light, I can't decide what mode I like the best:wink

Dwan

one of the modes rotates through the other 6 so it is always changing. Have fun!!

I like the mode where it just flashes the whole thing at once. so all sides are covered all the time when it's on. not the ones that alternate corners. very bright light though. amazing how many LEDs are in that light

Light without the mag. mount, how do you control the modes? Does it come with a control switch?
Thanks

Well to make a long story short that is something the advertisement didn't tell you. The mode switch is only avalable on the one with the cigeret lighter plug on it.
There is a workaround though. You must remove the cover to the light. remove the 2 ground lugs that atach the grounding cable to the frame, icelate the ground and insure it cannot make contact again (tape). Then rewire the incoming leads as so you can apply a temperary pulse to the mode termanual on the controler inside the light housing. you will have 3 leads plus a sheald comming into the light. the red one goes to positive, black one goes to both the ground lugs you have icelated, and the last to the mode termanal.
Now at the switch panel. you need 2 switches, 1 turns on the lights (on/off) and the other a momintery switch to apply + 12 volts to the mode wire.

If you need pictures or a wireing digram you will have to wait till I have time to take them and draw it up, so let me know.

Dwan, Shure if you get a chance a digram would always help. I'm going to be using it on a dump truck and don't want to go magnetic, no slidding window in the back of the cab, plus things get jard around alot on a dump truck.
Thank you!
Scott

Ps Truck look great in the pics! Is your v box the new swenson poly hawk? If so how do you like it? Did you go with the Tecumseh engine?

It is the Poly Hawk with the Honda. I have not had a chance to use it yet as the weather is not coperating. Only reason it is warm and raining here is because I am ready.

I had the mag mount with the 360 led wrap around on my truck, there is no question that it is brihgt, got a lot of compliments on it. I had it set to random as they have done studies that show a constant non changing pattern tends to attract more drunks than something random. It had great coverage all the way around, it did not draw much and it justlooked nice on top of the truck as it is low profile... I sold it when I got my new traffic director and in grille led's but wish I had kept it as it was very usful if you needed to go help someone and wanted to ride with them just popped it off the roof and off I went...
