My opportunity to say something about a Dodge.:) I know I will incur the wrath of a few people who love Dodge's (They're OK, Dodges that is), but I can't resist.
I'm pretty sure that it caught fire because it over heated pulling that little trailer behind it while also carrying a plow in the front. Obviously couldn't handle the extra weight. :D
You will still talk to me won't you Chris????:D
Dr. Phil would say "how's picking on Dodge guys workin' for you"?:D

I have a feeling this isnt a Dodge problem that started it. With the plow installs ive seen lately.im suprised there arent more fires. It seems more than 1/2 of the installs are potential wire fires waiting to happen.

If you look closely, that is not a "little trailer" all you can see is the toolbox on the tongue of it. That looks like a skid steer trailer. You can almost make out the corner of a bucket on the trailer.

Looking at the pics, it is hard to say what might have started the fire. At first I was thinking it started in the engine compartment, but, the whole cab is engulfed in the pics. :beatsme

I agree w/ Chuck. Note the hitch.

Looks to me it started in the engine compartment and traveled on to the cab which is common in a vehical fire that gets going good.I also note that it looks like a pretty big/heavy duty trailer hes pulling. That with the combo if the plow and whatever tools was in the back portion of the truck would seem to me like a lot.

This is obviously the work of a crazed Ford guy driven to such an act by a severe case of diesel envy! :D (Just Kidding.)

Seriously, I'm glad that wasn't my truck. I really feel for the guy. Hope he's got good insurance. But on the brighter side, there was nothing but black, wet pavement within 50' of that truck. Just a heck of a way to have to clear that lot ;)
